JOROTO JH50 Recumbent Exercise Bike

This was a gift for my parents. They live in the mountains and during the winter it can be difficult to get outside and take walks safely due to harsh winters, freezing temps and slippery roads. This makes it easy for them to get some cardio done inside while watching a movie, reading a book or playing a game on their iPad. It's held up well now for about 9 months and they have both used it daily. Definitily recommend this if you're in the market for a stationary bike.

I read a lot of reviews and watched several video reviews before deciding on this particular exercise bike. It was packed very well and was not difficult to assemble. Everything fit together well. The tools needed for assembly were includedI appreciate the compact size, as I do not have a large space. The bike is very sturdy and pedals smoothly. The seat is very comfortable and is adjustable. I am 5’9” with long legs, and the bike fits me well. The app that connects via Bluetooth to the computer control looks like it’s going to be good. I am very happy with my purchase. It is a high quality product at a good price.

Got this last winter and it’s been great. No issues at all, feels sturdy and looks sexy with the wood pattern. Very satisfied with it! The seat and all the adjustments are very easily made. Highly recommended.

Purchased for 76yr old mother. Packaging was superior. Quality of materials are excellent.

I hardly use it but when I do is an amazing Item to get in shape. It sync with your IPhone and has lots of choices I would say, buy it if you desire to run and stimulate your heart.

The assembly of the bike is not for seniors. The seat assembly especially. We had a friend help us due to holes not matching up to put the bolts in. With the help of a hammer we got it done. Ii am enjoying the bike now and use it daily. Buy it but seek some help with assembly.

I like the bike, especially the weight capacity. I wish the JOROTO App itself listed this bike as one supported by the app and that the exercise routines were written for the recumbent bike instead of the standard upright bike. The water bottle holder is a joke. It is placed so far away that it is useful only for when to get on or off the bike, you cannot reach it while riding.

Great value for my money. Easy to assemble since most of the bike comes put together. When you install the pedals follow the instructions. Several negative comments that the pedals fell off were possibly a result of them put on backwards. I did not need the extra Bluetooth, internet connections just wanted a quality bike to ride. Also the digital readout is all I needed. Smooth and comfortable ride. One piece of advice though, three extra washers may be needed for the knob to adjust the seat as the threaded shaft is too long.

The only reason I gave this four stars instead of five is the same reason everyone is a little bit disappointed.. the resistance settings. You really don’t get anything until level 7 but there is only 8 levels. So far 7 is good for me and I get a decent workout. Pedaling is very smooth and quiet.

Put this baby together in about two hours. Well documented and proper tools included. Downloaded the app and started riding. Great on my old knees. Love it especially on cold days.

Great product fits the description and very easy to assemble

This bike is thoughtfully designed, good looking, nicely finished, and solidly built. It is very nearly totally silent.I bought it for rehab after knee surgery, and it works well for that. Comfortable, stable, and easy to get on and off of. I haven't used it for serious aerobic workouts - for that you might want a spinning bike.A few minor cons:The electronics are minimal (although the pulse meter works pretty well) - this is to be expected given the modest price. For aerobic workouts, what I miss is some relatively accurate measure of power exerted (watts for example). I would pay an extra 50 bucks for that. The calories counter on this bike is useless, as it depends only on distance and does not account for the resistance setting.The resistance settings are very easy to change, however as other reviewers have complained the lower several levels are almost indistinguishable, and for the top few levels the resistance increase steps are huge.This is not a bike for tall people. My pants inseam is 30", and at the maximum seat position I can just about get full extension on my legs.Quite a bit of assembly is required, but it's not difficult and all required fasteners and tools are included. And the instructions are clear. One tip: many of the bolts come loosely installed where they will go - you need to remove them, add the part to be attached, and then put the bolts back in.

I’ve had this bike for two days and I’m very impressed with it. As another reviewer said, it’s extremely quiet, I can easily hear what ever I’m watching on my iPad. I’m 5’3” with a 28 inch inseam and put the seat in the 4th position, so there’s plenty of room for adjustment for smaller people. It’s rock solid with the adjustable feet on the bottom, no swaying when your workout calls for a standing position. I ended up choosing this one because of the one year parts warranty, most are only covered for 90 days, which is ridiculous. The magnetic resistance provides plenty and is great because it doesn’t touch the flywheel. I’ve contacted customer service a few times and the woman I dealt with has been extremely courteous and helpful, all around very impressive. I’m very glad that this is the bike I ended up choosing.

I'm very disappointed. If I spend this much on the product, it should include everything. Only thing I'm missing is the machines monitor. It was not in my box. Sad and bad for business.

Excellent equipment, excedes my expectancies. I am physician with back problems, and this a secure piece of equipment.

So far I absolutely love this bike. It tracks the mileage you've ridden, the calories you've burned, your heart rate and speed. Also will keep time, or like I do, set a timer. I ride generally for 25 minutes, 4 days a week. Sometimes a bit longer. The phone it tablet holder is nice so I can watch stuff while I'm riding. Quiet operation means you could ride this late at night, or very early and not disturb others in the house. Made of heavy duty materials and frame work means it won't fall apart on you in a few months. Very good instructions and putting it together was a breeze. This is made to last many years and i would not hesitate to buy this again.

It is sturdy, stabile, and easy to adjust. The tools are included and it's not hard to assemble. Provides a good workout. We bought one for the farm house and liked it so much we both another for main house.

I purchased this particular recumbent exercise bike for Christmas because it states a max inseam of 35.5". I am 6'2" with a pants inseam of 32" and this bike is very uncomfortable for me to ride as my knees hit my chest when I pedal. My legs do not even come close to straightening either.The bike overall is built well and assembled easily but the inseam statement does not correlate to what you purchase slacks with.Buyer beware!5/6/25 Edit: 3 stars to 4 starsMerach Customer Support reached out to discuss the issue I mentioned in the original review. I explained how the terminology needs to be updated and they said they would review the descriptions. They have been communicative and have compensated me for this updated the review accordingly. My wife and I have found that if we wear flat bottomed shoes (unlike the thick soles of standard excersize shoes) we can use the piece of equipment.For the money and as long as you fit their dimension requirements, this is a well built machine. My wife had one of their under desk type pedal machines that she used religiously and liked the machine very well.

A little tricky to put together, but well worth the effort. This stationary bike is sturdy. Very comfortable to sit on. Great value for cost. I am enjoying my biking workout.

I got this for my partner who is prone to vasovagal syncope (he passes out whenever he’s too hot, moves too fast, etc). The support on the back is fantastic and prevents him from falling when he works out. It’s also surprisingly doesn’t take up much space.

This is a good bike for my wife who uses it for keeping her legs strong after total knee replacement. She is very happy with its use and is easy to adjust. Seat is comfortable with smooth operation. Putting the bike together took some time put not that difficult to do.
