Built to last, giant lag bolts for foot pedals and made of real quality! Took about an hour from open to total set up for a girl and all tools are in package.. smooth rowing!!! Im in love!
Bought this rowing machine during the Amazon Prime sales.
Seems like a Concept2 dupe, but made of heavier materials. Much heavier than a Concept2, so some heft to it. But this has a handle and wheels to move around. Compared to dismantling the concept2 rail and moving that in two-pieces.
This has a lever to fold on itself to transport and make smaller. While the Concept2 you remove the rail and put away as two parts.
This has a fabric chain belt instead of a metal chain one l
of the Concept2. I have no idea if that is a significant difference. I do know you need to oil the metal chain of the Concept2 at some later on point.
My only complaint is that the screen with your Rowing statistics. It is made to be so damn low contrast. Easy to see read on my camera picture, because the camera adjusts the shutter speed. But it is hard on the eyes, in practice.
Do not worry about the red lever for adjusting the pull-strength. It does not get in the way. I have no accidentally hit it. Only a worry on the back of the mind, but it never got hit even once.
Noise is about the same level of a Concept2. Will not be heard outside of the room it is left inside. Only the people in the same room will hear the air whirl.
I am very satisfied with this device. Buy with confidence! Great value, especially during sales!
I love this rower! I had difficulty adjusting the footrests for my smaller foot size. My husband was able to adjust them though by using a little more force.
I like everything about the Joroto MR60 except the size of the wheels, which are good on tile or hard floor but are too small to go over carpet without struggling. Other than that, I got what I expected and more. Psu11y

I had to grab a few missing nuts at Home Depot. Otherwise, the wife and I are using it daily. Once I adjusted the pedals, the stroke is easier. It would be better if you could adjust the pedal angle as well. Yet, we are quite satisfied.
This rower by JOROTO is awesome! I love how smooth and quiet it is during my workout. The rower is designed well and built strong. The rowing resistance is perfect with their air and magnetic resistance combination. Plenty of adjustability for all fitness levels. Packaging was delivered in great shape. Joroto is also very responsive and sent me a message as soon as it was delivered to reach out if there was anything I need. Assembly was quick and easy to follow. Very pleased with my purchase. A great addition to my home gym.
I am a newbie to rowing. So new in fact this is my first time.
The directions putting it together are amazing.. my neighbor and myself put it together in 30 mins.
It fits in my coat closet folded Yay!
Thank you
I just got this machine after extensive research and have had a chance to use it several times. I normally write reviews for products on Amazon, but for this one, I thought it important to confirm a few items that I had questions about during my research process. I should mention that I have had experience with using another Joroto product because I have a family member who has one of their spin bikes (XM16) and I’ve used that and it is an excellent, well built, stable, spin bike. That said, I’ve been contemplating a rower (and spin bike) for my home gym and I ended up getting the MR60 rower.
First, as part of my research, I read some of the reviews and want to clarify a few misnomers that are inaccurate now that I’ve received, assembled and used the machine several times. One reviewer stated that when assembling, they could not easily distinguish between the left and right foot rest. However, for my machine, there are stickers that say ‘L’ and ‘R’ which made it easy to discern placement of the foot rests. Another reviewer mentioned that they have a large foot and their feet don’t fit but in fact there is an adjustment that allows one to make the foot rest larger or smaller by increasing or decreasing the height and snapping in the two button inserts which lock the foot rest area in place. Additionally, I read one review stating that they wished this could be folded and stored away. As I mention in the review and as I read in the advertisement for the machine, an excellent attribute is just how simply and effortlessly this machine folds simply by stepping on the foot pedal (and it transports very easily as well).
I looked at both air and magnetic rowing machines and came very close to purchasing the Concept 2 which is a great machine (and mentioned comparatively in another review or two) and really the standard by which all other rowing machines are compared to. If you’ve been to a gym and used a rower there is a good chance that it was the Concept 2. That said, it’s an excellent machine albeit at a higher price point and often found in training facilites. However, price aside, the reason I went with this machine is due to this machine having the attributes of both an air and magnetic rower. For those who aren’t familiar, an Air Rowing Machine, similar to Concept 2, gets resistance from a wheel spinning and the harder you row, the harder the resistance. It’s a good, proven system; however, it is a bit noisy because the air alone acts as a turbine and the resistance results in noise kind of like a propeller spinning. As an aside, there are other rowers that require water to be filled in a tank, there are also purely magnetic resistance rowers and then there is the Joroto MR60 which is takes the best of both Air and Magnetic resistance and puts it into one rowing machine.
While I live in a single family home where noise technically isn’t a factor, my workout room is about 12X12 and I didn’t want a really noisy machine or a lot of echo from excess noise. When using this machine, there are 10 magnetic resistance settings and similar to ‘Air’ rowing machines, the harder you row, the greater the resistance but without the excess noise. So you get dual resistance of both the magnetic 10 pound flywheel along with air resistance and an excellent, challenging workout. For those who may live in apartments or condominiums, this is an excellent choice for noise and as shown in the photo, this machine folds easily with a hydraulic feeling spring system that is quiet and folds by stepping on a peddle and gently lifting up to get it folding. It requires no strength at all. It also moves around easily with the built in handle and wheels that roll smoothly for transporting or storage.
As for build quality, for most reading this, the machine is going to be used in a home gym or a personal training studio (ie. light commercial use). After using this several times (and putting it together which took about an hour or maybe a little less), I am pretty confident that this machine will perform excellent in a personal training facility and certainly in any home gym. By comparison, machines like the Concept 2 are built for commercial gyms and training facilities and they do have some slightly different attributes. For example, as shown in my photo, this machine does not have a chain drive attached to the rowing handle as the Concept 2 does. However, it does have a very sturdy tether cord which will take as much abuse as anyone can throw at it on a daily basis and it also has a maintenance free belt drive which drives the 10 pound flywheel (for magnetic resistance). So the bottom line is that if you are using or purchasing for an institutional facility or commercial gym where it will be used tens of times each day by large numbers of people, your requirements would be a bit different; however, at a fraction of the cost of the Concept 2, the build quality of this is unquestionably durable and able to withstand use at any home gym...
Everything about this is nice except for the fact that some of it was broken in shipping. I already put it together so I don't feel like returning it.
It takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour for one person to put together. The instructions are very easy to follow.
It's smooth running. There's an app to pair with. You can pick a place to row and watch it on your phone as you row along. Everything works really well.
It seems really well built. I just wish the plastic wasn't broken.
This is by far the nicest row machine that I or my husband have ever used. And he has used several at professional gyms. So that's saying a lot. It is SO smooth and SO quiet. It has a display that tracks how many rows and your distance. And then it has a holder for your device so if you want to watch something while you row! If you don't have a lot of space it folds up nice and easy. It's seriously awesome!!!!! The pictures and video really speak for themselves.
Also - it was packaged really well. Except one spot where the Styrofoam seemed to disintegrate. And that is where the main plastic piece came cracked. It's actually on the bottom side and did not affect the use of the row machine. Nor do I think this was the company's fault. Customer service was great, and they are sending a new replacement piece. Some might say why bother if it still works fine. But I like my things nice and new looking. This is an expensive piece of equipment and I want it all in new condition and that's how I intend to keep it.
Highly recommend!! I loathe cardio but this machine is a game changer!!!

I have used the Concept 2 for over 20 years. I reviewed the MR60 and decided to take a chance on this new rower. While it was several hundred dollars cheaper than the Concept , the unit seemed well made. I decided to take a chance on a purchase. The MR60 is well made. It was somewhat easy to put together. The machining of pieces were fairly exact , so everything fit together nicely. The rear bumper stop for the seat I initially put on upside down; but quickly noticed and reversed it.
I checked out the Kinomap App that is supported with this rower and ultimately decided not to use it . The rower performed nicely... it was quiet and smooth. The rowing movement was fluid. The resistance knob worked well and indeed offered an extra challenge. I have worked out for years. At age 74 I am in fairly good shape. I ended up using setting 4 and 5 . I am not sure I will ever reach resistance level 10. It is hard. My only complaint is that the monitor lights up for a few seconds, then darkens. That probably prolongs battery life. I needed to shine a lamp ( light) directly on the monitor screen to view the data as I rowed. The data seemed accurate and the monitor otherwise worked well.
I was most impressed by the customer service. They seemed to be located in China; but that was not a problem. They were responsive and courteous . I got replies to my e-mails in less than 24 hours. The English was for the most part written clearly and understandable. Over all I am very satisfied. I set my machine in front of a 55" high def TV and watch YouTube rowing videos while rowing. There is also a place to put a iPad just above the monitor. Rowing to the various videos was indeed a cool and pleasant experience. The quiet and smooth operation of the rower enabled me to view the video sounds without difficultly or interference. I would buy this machine again.
Great machine for us 300 pounders. The only thing that I would change would be the travel distance on the rail. I have short legs and I still bang on both ends of the rail. Coulda been a 5 star.
This machine is well built. Definitely comparable to a concept2. Only thing that needs improvement would be the app used with it. Although there might be other apps you can use it with. Also it is VERY quiet compared to concept2 rowers that are loud. The resistance is good. It wasn't hard to put together by one person just be careful because it is heavy.
We love our rower
It took months to decide on a rower because we were replacing our old one
This is our favorite excise equipment and a huge upgrade from our old rowering machine
Customer Support is very good
We couldn't figure out how to adjust the foot paddle since two different people are using the machine
We emailed the company and they reached out to us and answered our question
They followed up to make sure everything was good
Excellent customer service
Machine is perfect for me and the wife with the resistance levels. I was concerned it was going to be weak for me and too much for her but the adjustments are perfect.
